Chippin Toy is a mobile app designed to make gift-giving more meaningful and collaborative. Instead of buying small, individual gifts, family and friends can contribute together toward a larger, more impactful present for a child. The app ensures that gifts are tailored to children’s preferences while simplifying the contribution and tracking process for parents and relatives.
Parents struggled with managing multiple small gifts and wanted a way to coordinate larger, more valuable presents.
Family members, especially grandparents, needed a simple and intuitive experience to contribute easily.
The app needed to build trust around payment security and contribution tracking.
User Research – Interviews with parents and relatives to uncover frustrations in gift-giving.
